We’re supporting a long-standing, highly respected B2B publisher and events provider within a specialised financial-services market. They produce a leading industry magazine, digital content, and a calendar of high-profile business events - and they’re now looking for a confident Sales Executive to join their team.
This is a warm, relationship-led sales role where you’ll grow partnerships with investment firms, consultancies and service providers, selling advertising packages, partner content, and event participation (including conferences, networking events and roundtables).
A fantastic opportunity for someone early–mid career in B2B sales who wants to build a strong presence in a tight-knit professional community and progress within a respected brand.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and developing relationships across an established client base
- Selling print and digital advertising, sponsored content and online packages
- Selling event attendance, sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Proactively growing your network through calls, email and face-to-face meetings
- Attending industry events (mainly London) to build visibility and relationships
- Staying aware of market activity, competitor publications and industry trends
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years’ B2B sales experience (media/advertising/event sales ideal)
- Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships in a professional market
- Well-presented and comfortable with in-person meetings and networking
- Commercial, organised and proactive in managing your pipeline
- Ability to learn sector terminology (financial services knowledge helpful)
- Degree beneficial but not essential
