Are you an experienced IT Workshop Manager or Senior Workshop Engineer looking for your next opportunity? We are looking for a hands-on Workshop Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy IT workshop, ensuring equipment is built, repaired, configured, and deployed to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) where quality, customer service, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing workshop operations
- Leading a small team of engineers
- Maintaining stock levels
- Supporting project delivery
- Ensuring hardware is prepared and delivered on time
Working closely with the Service Desk, Projects and Procurement teams, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding service to customers. The role includes overseeing the daily running of the workshop, including hardware builds, repairs, testing and equipment configuration. You will lead, mentor and develop workshop engineers and apprentices, ensuring all devices are built, configured and deployed to agreed standards within required timescales. You will also manage stock control, support procurement activities, maintain supplier relationships, monitor workshop performance and capacity.
