About the Opportunity

This is not a typical Business Operations Manager role. It is an opportunity to become a key member of the leadership team within a successful and ambitious family business that is investing in its future. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the business operates efficiently, supporting strategic growth through exceptional organisation, strong operational management and continuous improvement. You'll work across every area of the business, helping to strengthen systems, develop processes and create an environment where people can perform at their best.

If you're someone who enjoys solving problems, bringing structure to busy environments and driving positive change, this is a role where you'll genuinely make an impact.

The Role

As Business Operations Manager, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the business while providing high-level support to the Managing Director and leadership team. You'll coordinate business operations, manage key administrative functions and ensure projects, meetings and business priorities are delivered efficiently. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll take ownership of HR administration, recruitment coordination, compliance, facilities management, supplier relationships and property administration, while continually reviewing processes to identify opportunities for improvement. You'll also support the implementation of new technology and AI-driven solutions that enhance efficiency and enable the business to continue evolving. Rather than completing every task yourself, your focus will be on ensuring the right people, systems and processes are in place to deliver consistently high standards across the business.

About You

We're looking for an experienced operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership. You'll be highly organised, commercially aware and confident working with senior stakeholders, with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You'll be an excellent communicator who builds strong relationships across all levels of the business and naturally looks for ways to improve how things are done. Experience within business operations, office management, executive support or a similar operational leadership role would be advantageous, together with exposure to HR administration, compliance, project coordination or process improvement. Most importantly, you'll be proactive, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement, with a genuine interest in technology, innovation and helping a successful business continue to grow.

What's on Offer

In return, you'll receive a salary of £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience, together with a discretionary bonus and ongoing investment in your professional development. You'll work alongside an experienced leadership team in a business that values trust, integrity and long-term relationships, with the opportunity to influence the future direction of the organisation and make a lasting contribution.

Apply Now

If you're looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
