Are you an organised, analytical and commercially minded administrator looking for a varied role within a forward-thinking business? Our client is an innovative organisation operating within the technology and circular economy sector, with a strong focus on sustainability, ethical business and positive impact. They are seeking a proactive Commercial Admin Support professional to provide administrative, reporting and coordination support to their Business Development and Commercial teams. This is a varied role offering exposure to Commercial, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, Business Intelligence, Marketing, Operations and Warehouse functions.
The Role
You will act as a central point of contact across internal teams and customers, supporting projects from initial instruction through to completion. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative and operational support to the Commercial and Business Development teams
- Managing customer projects, job numbers, purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Supporting proposals, presentations, customer review packs and tender submissions
- Producing sales, performance and management reports
- Analysing commercial and operational data using Excel
- Maintaining CRM records, commercial trackers and Power BI reports
- Supporting customer enquiries, feedback and account management
- Coordinating activity across departments and monitoring project progress
- Attending meetings, taking minutes and following up agreed actions
- Supporting logistics, returns and warehouse coordination
- Liaising with Finance regarding costs, profitability and reporting
- Conducting market and competitor research
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, systems and business processes
About You
You will have at least three years’ experience within Commercial Support, Business Support, Sales Administration, Customer Service or a similar role. You will also have:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience using CRM systems
- Strong reporting, data analysis and administrative skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with stakeholders across different departments
- A customer-focused and proactive approach
- Good commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting projects and coordinating activities
- A continuous improvement mindset
Experience within technology, telecommunications, supply chain, logistics, technology recycling, sustainability or the circular economy would be beneficial, as would knowledge of Power BI, tender submissions or working with international customers.
