We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a fast-paced and growing sales team. This role is responsible for managing both inbound and outbound sales activity, converting enquiries into customers, and driving revenue growth across existing and new accounts.
In this position, you will play a key role across the full sales cycle, from lead qualification through to closing deals, while consistently delivering an excellent customer experience and building long-term relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives in a target-focused environment and enjoys working with both new and existing customers.
You will be responsible for generating new business through outbound calls, emails, and telesales activity, as well as responding to inbound enquiries across phone, email, live chat, and other channels. You will qualify leads, identify conversion opportunities, and manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to order completion. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and prospects will be essential, alongside presenting tailored product and service solutions based on customer needs.
You will also ensure accurate maintenance of CRM and ERP systems, keeping all activity fully tracked and up to date. Following up on leads and nurturing opportunities through the sales pipeline will form a key part of your day-to-day activity. Working closely with marketing, customer support, and technical teams, you will help to ensure a seamless customer journey.
You will be expected to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, while providing regular updates and reporting on sales activity and results. Staying up to date with industry trends and product knowledge, as well as gathering customer feedback to support continuous improvement, will also be important aspects of the role.
We are looking for a confident and results-driven individual with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for sales. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in sales, telesales, or customer service within an inbound or outbound environment, along with a proven ability to achieve KPIs and sales targets. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with confidence in handling objections and closing sales.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, alongside experience using CRM systems and sales tools. Strong organisational and time-management skills are important, as is a self-motivated and proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in technical or solution-based sales would be desirable, along with knowledge of energy, utilities, or industrial product sectors. ERP system experience would also be an advantage.
The salary for this role is £26,000 basic with an OTE of £40,000, with additional uncapped monthly commission based on performance and KPIs. You will benefit from an annual performance appraisal, structured training and development opportunities, BUPA health insurance, a company pension scheme, an employee assistance programme, death in service cover at four times salary, and the option to buy or sell annual leave.
You will also be joining a supportive and collaborative working environment where development and success are actively encouraged. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing sales environment where success is rewarded and career progression is genuinely supported.
