We Staff Education are partnering with a well-established secondary school in Loughton to recruit a qualified PE Teacher to join their team after the Easter half term. This is a great opportunity to step into a structured and supportive department where you can make an immediate impact, with the added benefit of a potential permanent role for the right candidate.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting participation, teamwork, and a positive approach to physical education.
- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons across a variety of sports
- Creating a positive and well-managed learning environment
- Encouraging student participation and development
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Contributing to extracurricular activities where possible
The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Has experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
- Brings energy, consistency, and a proactive approach
- Is confident stepping into a role and building rapport quickly
