About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure they are safe, roadworthy, and compliant with legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
  • Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Conduct inspections in line with DVSA standards
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
  • Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Mechanic/Technician
  • Relevant qualifications desirable, not essential (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
