Type: Part-Time Job Description We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a school team and help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring classrooms, communal areas and other school facilities are cleaned to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
  • Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and high-touch areas.
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely.
  • Reporting any maintenance, health and safety or cleaning issues.
  • Following school safeguarding, health and safety and cleaning procedures.
  • Maintaining a professional and friendly approach while working around pupils and staff.

Morning: 06:30–08:30 Afternoon: 15:30–18:30 Candidates must be available for both shifts.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS required – candidates must hold a valid Enhanced DBS.
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.

  • Good attention to detail.
