Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level and monitor student progress and attainment
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners and make curriculum content relevant and engaging
  • Deliver timely feedback, set homework, and run booster or enrichment sessions
  • Support curriculum planning and develop the extra-curricular offering for Maths
  • Promote reading in Maths and encourage students to take Maths at GCSE and A-Level
  • Embed SMSC, PSHE, diversity, and inclusion strategies in your teaching
  • Serve as a form tutor, fostering strong relationships with students and parents
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment
  • Participate in school life including supervisory duties, lunch duties, and enrichment activities
