High Growth Security SaaS Company based in London, are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer – AppSec / DevSecOps.
What you'll be doing:
- Act as the technical lead across Enterprise sales cycles, partnering with AEs.
- Become a product expert and lead integration into customer CI/CD pipelines, developer workflows, and AppSec programs.
- Run technical discovery sessions, diagnose customer issues, and advise on solution design.
- Own Proof-of-Value engagements end-to-end — defining success criteria, configuring environments, and driving technical wins.
- Write and adapt static analysis rules to surface vulnerabilities and demonstrate product depth.
- Articulate the platform's technical differentiation to security engineers, DevOps teams, and C-level stakeholders.
- Reduce customer friction by improving demo environments, automation, and technical enablement content.
- Contribute to scaling a high-performing Solutions Engineering team through process, playbooks, and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to relay field insights.
Essential Skills:
- 6–8 years in a pre-sales or customer-facing engineering role within Enterprise SaaS, specifically with complex, technical products.
- Enterprise sales experience with complex technical products — AppSec, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, or adjacent developer tooling.
- Strong engineering background — Strong understanding of developer workflows and CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
- AppSec concepts: SAST, SCA, secrets detection, secure SDLC.
- DevOps fluency — containers, Git workflows, scripting (Python/Bash), API integrations.
- Experience writing or customising static analysis rules is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills — able to credibly engage security engineers, DevOps teams, and technical leadership.
