I'm partnering with a well-funded AI startup rebuilding accounting from the ground up. Backed by top-tier investors, their platform is already running real client month-end workflows and NetSuite is the most important integration in the product.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the NetSuite integration end-to-end — data model, sync, onboarding, and every edge case heavily customised tenants throw at you.
- Where others reach for off-the-shelf connectors, you'll drop down to SuiteTalk and SuiteQL to build what those tools can't.
- Design and build the integration from auth through sync, error handling, and reconciliation.
- Write SuiteQL, SuiteTalk REST/SOAP, and custom SuiteScript 2.x (1.0 when legacy demands).
- Own customer onboarding — TBA, OAuth 2.0, roles, permissions, and the troubleshooting that follows.
- Partner with controllers and accounting ops to map their NetSuite into the product.
- Set the bar for data model conventions, sync patterns, and observability.
Essential Skills:
- 3–10 years as a full-stack engineer on complex products.
- Strong Python.
- Deep NetSuite data model knowledge: subsidiaries, classes, segments, custom fields, records.
- Real OneWorld / multi-subsidiary experience.
- Production use of SuiteTalk REST, SOAP, and SuiteQL.
- Strong SuiteScript 2.x; RESTlets and server-side scripts when needed.
- TBA and OAuth 2.0 setup on NetSuite.
Perks: £110k-£170k + benefits
