A hugely successful well-known media company based in London, who work with some of the most major and high profile brands engaging over 82 million global consumers, are looking for a React Native Developer. You will be working on a green field project to build out their mobile app platform. You will be building both iOS and Android apps on top of their existing headless services, for a range of well-known brands.
Role:
- Build reusable code, components and libraries for future use
- Optimise pages, code and assets for maximum speed and scalability against an agreed performance budget
- Work within the wider department to develop our standards, best practices and guidelines
- Ensure these are understood and adhered to by our teams
- Use testing frameworks to ensure automated test coverage for platform functionality
- Write and improve technical documentation when necessary
- Participate in all Agile planning meetings and stand-ups
Requirements:
- 4+ years commercial React Native experience
- Integrating first and third party services including REST APIs and analytics
- Unit testing
- Understanding of the key differences between native platforms
- Agile working principles
- Working with a design system/component library
- Hands-on experience working with native modules on iOS and/or Android
- Automated testing, e.g. end-to-end tests
