Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Analytics & Dashboards: Own end-to-end customer supply chain analytics and executive dashboards (Power BI or similar) covering cost-to-serve, logistics, hubs/warehouses, transport, 3PL performance, and service levels.
  • Financial & Cost Analysis: Assist in building and maintaining detailed cost-to-serve and margin models by customer, region, incoterm, and route; support annual budgets, reforecasts, and variance analysis (plan vs actual).
  • Customer Supply Chain Modelling: Design and model customer-specific supply chains from mine to customer site, assessing cost, service, working capital, and operational feasibility.
  • Network & Hub Economics: Support global warehouse and hub decisions through financial and scenario analysis on location, sizing, throughput, inventory positioning, and fixed vs variable cost trade-offs.
  • 3PL & Last-Mile Cost Management: Analyse, challenge, and optimise warehousing, handling, transport, and last-mile cost structures; support tenders, benchmarking, and performance reviews with logistics partners.
  • Commercial & Investment Support: Provide data-driven inputs to customer tenders, pricing discussions, and capex / opex decisions, ensuring supply chain assumptions are robust and transparent.
  • Executive Storytelling & Performance Reporting: Translate complex analysis into clear presentation-ready narratives, charts, and recommendations for senior leadership and board-level discussions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and quantify improvement opportunities across logistics, warehouses, and customer delivery; standardise KPIs and analytical frameworks globally.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–8 years in supply chain analytics, financial analysis, network modelling, or customer supply chain design.
  • Advanced Power BI (or equivalent) with strong data modelling, and dashboard storytelling skills is a plus.
  • Excellent financial modelling capability (Excel and/or equivalent); comfortable with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of cost-to-serve, margins, fixed vs variable costs, and working capital in complex supply chains.
  • Proven experience analysing warehousing, hubs, 3PLs, and last-mile delivery economics.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and strong change management skillset is the core of this role.
  • High-quality PowerPoint and data storytelling skills; able to present insights in a clear, structured, executive-ready manner.
  • Able to influence senior stakeholders with data-backed recommendations.
  • Experience in commodities, chemicals, mining, or asset-heavy supply chains is preferred.
  • Exposure to SAP, Qlik, or advanced planning systems is an advantage.
