WE Soda is one of the world's leading producers of natural soda ash and sodium bicarbonate, with low-carbon production operations in Türkiye and the United States and a supply network serving customers across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Your role is to manage and grow a portfolio of soda ash customers across Europe, combining hands‑on account management with active business development across direct customers and distribution partners in the glass, detergents, chemicals, metallurgy and water treatment segments. You will build strong customer relationships, convert new opportunities, and partner with supply chain, customer service and technical colleagues to grow volume, margin and market share.
Working Arrangement:
This role requires regular travel to customer sites across Europe (around 30–40% of your time).
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Growth
- You will manage and grow an assigned portfolio of European soda ash customers, acting as the primary commercial contact and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- You will identify, qualify and win new customers and applications across Europe, building and managing a healthy sales pipeline across industrial segments.
- You will develop account plans for priority customers covering volume, pricing, growth opportunities and risk, and lead regular business reviews.
- You will prepare and negotiate annual and multi-year supply agreements, tenders and price adjustments, including delivered-price build ups, freight and surcharge mechanisms.
- You will build deep knowledge of key soda ash end-use markets (glass, detergents, chemicals, metallurgy) and their demand drivers to position WE Soda's offering competitively.
- You will gather and share market intelligence on European soda ash demand, pricing, imports and competitor activity to inform pricing and commercial strategy.
- You will conduct all commercial activity in line with WE Soda's pricing governance and competition and antitrust law requirements.
Operational Delivery & Collaboration
- You will coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams on bulk deliveries by rail, road and sea, and on European terminal and warehouse stock and order-to-delivery performance.
- You will manage and support distribution partners where relevant, setting joint targets and reviewing performance against agreed KPIs.
- You will provide accurate monthly volume and price forecasts, maintain CRM and pipeline records, and contribute to S&OP and budget processes.
- You will work closely with customer service, finance, technical service and marketing to resolve issues, manage credit and receivables, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Solid negotiation skills and commercial acumen, including understanding of pricing, margins and contract terms.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering or a related field.
