Role Purpose

The Accountant role will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting audits and reporting for Group Companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, assist, and examine financial statements, tax returns, and accounting records.
  • Ensure financial documents are accurate and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits with timely and accurate submissions.
  • Maintain the general ledger and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and transactions for Group Companies.
  • Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and capital.
  • Manage general accounting activities for four holding entities with limited transaction types.
  • Prepare invoice listings and related documentation for quarterly VAT returns.
  • Perform quarterly valuation processes in SAP for Group Companies.
  • Process and file company credit card transactions with supporting receipts.
  • Prepare monthly Real Estate reports requested by the Treasury Department.
  • Coordinate specific reporting requirements with the Treasury Department.
  • Coordinate the monthly payroll process with third-party service providers.
  • Key Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience in corporate, public, or group company environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP; experience with invoice portals and automated systems is a plus.
  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
  • Familiarity with tax laws and compliance regulations.
  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or AAT certification is an advantage.
  • Turkish language skill would be an advantage.
