- Take action to reduce waste by discounting, reallocating or stopping orders and other means, and avoid over‑ordering by improving planning accuracy.
- Ensure the right machinery parts, products and raw materials are available at the right time, prevent stock‑outs and use demand forecasts and historical data to plan inventory.
- Ensure robust inventory governance through accurate data, effective forecasting, and strong control frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations, including layout design, safety standards, and process efficiency.
- Oversee end‑to‑end warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring seamless flow of goods from receipt through to dispatch.
- Develop, implement, and manage supplier strategies to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective, and timely supply.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain without compromising quality or service levels.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long‑term strategic goals.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics including quality, delivery, compliance, and cost.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Converting, Machinery, Customer Support) to align supply chain objectives with business goals.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks and proactively resolve any supply disruptions.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for alternative sourcing.
- Coordinate and manage transportation, delivery schedules, and third‑party logistics providers.
- Optimise freight and shipping costs while ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods.
- Resolve logistics issues and develop contingency plans to minimise disruption.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation and regulatory requirements (local and international).
- Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities across procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations.
- Use data and KPIs to analyse performance and drive process improvements.
- Support sustainability and efficiency initiatives within the supply chain.
- Monthly reporting of key metrics to the Board highlighting successes, identifying any areas of concern with proposed solutions.
- Ensure We Seal’s policies regarding Health and Safety, quality, and environmental impacts are adhered to at all times.
