Role: Senior CDM Consultant/ Principal Designer Location: Remote position – projects across the Home Counties & London Sector: CDM/ Principal Designer practice Salary: Up to £68,000 bonus scheme attractive benefits package WRG has partnered with a well-established, independent CDM/ Principal Designer consultancy with ambitious growth plans for 2026. The business is looking to appoint an experienced Senior CDM Consultant/ Principal Designer to oversee a varied portfolio of property and construction projects across London and the Home Counties. The consultancy operates on a fully remote basis, with monthly team get-togethers at its London HQ, offering flexibility without losing the benefits of collaboration. Youll work with a diverse client base across the property and construction sector, delivering CDM and Principal Designer services on projects ranging in value from £300k to £500m. Over the past six years, the business has built an excellent reputation within the industry, resulting in strong levels of repeat business and consistent, organic growth. As part of the next phase of expansion, they are seeking a technically strong, confident Senior CDM Consultant/ Principal Designer to manage their own portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, office, leisure, hotel, and heritage sectors. This role would suit a client-facing consultant from a consultancy background who is looking for greater autonomy, trust, and the opportunity to regain a healthy work-life balance without compromising on the quality or scale of projects. Responsibilities: Offer a range of CDM & PD services to clients. Oversee the design risk register and attend design risk reviews, along with offering input in relation to safety in design. Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date. Sit in on design and client team meetings and offer advice around safety in design. Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required. Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place for each project. Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones. Requirements: NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required). Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body. APS 2 Day Principal Designer course or similar qualification. Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations. Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Apply: Salary from £60,000 – £68,000 (dependant on experience).
