Projects across the North of England
We Recruit Group have partnered with an independent Project and Cost Management consultancy who operate across the UK. The business has ambitious growth plans for 2025 and into the future, along with a strong order book of projects within the built environment. They are looking to appoint an experienced H&S/ CDM Consultant to oversee projects across the North of England. Our client oversees a portfolio of commercial, leisure, retail and mixed-use projects for a diverse client base. The role would suit a client-facing and personable H&S/ CDM professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a fast-paced consultancy environment. The business would also consider experienced H&S professionals who have been working for a Principal Contractor or Housing Developer, who has excellent working knowledge of the 2015 CDM Regs.
Duties:
- Carry out risk assessments and site inspections/ audits when required on projects.
- Collate Pre-Construction Information packs for each project.
- Attend project design team meetings and chair design risk workshops to ensure design safety.
- Review Construction Phase Plans received from Principal Contractors.
- Raise F10 notifications.
- Obtain, collate and distribute Health & Safety Files.
- Assist Clients in relation to their CDM obligations and ensure that CDM compliance is met across the project portfolio.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
- Membership to a professional institute e.g. IOSH, APS, IIRSM.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Good understanding of the BSA changes affecting the industry.
- Excellent knowledge of the 2015 CDM Regulations.
- Full UK driving license.
