Location: Northampton (remote role)

WRG is excited to once again be supporting an independent construction & engineering consultancy. The business is growing rapidly and are looking to appoint an ambitious Health & Safety/ CDM professional to their team in the Northern Home Counties (projects based across the region).
The H&S/ CDM Consultant would cover a diverse portfolio of property & construction projects (commercial, residential, healthcare, education, retail, industrial) across the region.
The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary environment where they will be working alongside Building Surveyors, Project Managers and Civil Engineers to offer a H&S/ CDM service to a portfolio of clients, the business supports Architects, Residential developers and Principal Contractors on these projects to ensure CDM and H&S compliance.
The role would suit an ambitious CDM professional with 2-3 years experience in the sector, ideally from a consultancy background who feels that their progress is currently stalled. Our client has a history of excellent career progression and will offer support and training for you to achieve success.
Responsibilities:
Offer a range of H&S and CDM services to clients.
Deliver various H&S services to ensure compliance on construction projects.
Ensure that pre-construction information is readily available for each project and is kept up to date.
Preparation of health and safety files and construction phase plans where required.
Carry out site inspections and ensure that RAMS are in place.
Further build and develop existing client relationships and develop new ones.
Liaise with various stakeholders (architects, contractors, developers, designers, client) and keep them informed of changes regarding safety.
Requirements:
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not required).
Membership to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or similar professional body.
Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations.
Good understanding of BSA and the changes affecting the industry (desirable).
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Full UK driving license.
