Job Title: Senior CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer
Location: Potters Bar or Orpington (Kent) office 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + attractive benefits package

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Senior CDM Advisor/ Principal Designer to join their growing Health & Safety team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of construction projects across housing, education, commercial, and public sector portfolios.
In this role, you will:
- Act as Principal Designer and CDM Advisor in line with CDM Regulations 2015.
- Provide competent health & safety and risk management advice to clients, designers, and contractors.
- Carry out design risk reviews and advise on effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and issue pre-construction information and health & safety files.
- Undertake site inspections and audits, reporting findings and providing practical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service and clear communication.
About You
They are looking for someone who is client-focused, detail-oriented, and confident working both independently and within a team. Ideally, you will have:
- A strong understanding of CDM 2015 Regulations and construction health & safety.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) essential.
- Membership of APS, IOSH or working towards (desirable).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to influence and engage project stakeholders.
