Assistant Site Manager Location: Ledbury, Herefordshire Employer: Developer/Contractor Salary: up to £50,000 + £5,500 car allowance + 15% bonus I am working on behalf of a leading residential developer/contractor who is looking to strengthen their team with the appointment of an Assistant Site Manager . This role involves working on a new development in Ledbury, Herefordshire, a 600-plot project entering its first phase. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with construction methods, health and safety regulations, and company policies, supporting the site manager in corrective actions and risk management. Coordinate with utility companies, trades, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services. Attend and support weekly site meetings, promoting communication, standards, and safety. Maintain site presentation, secure necessary documentation, and manage site inductions for all personnel. Monitor and ensure adherence to health and safety practices, accident reporting, and environmental policies. Oversee and maintain quality control, including inspections, snagging, and ensuring quality standards for trades and materials. Provide support in customer-facing activities, including home demonstrations, service visits, and addressing customer queries and issues. The team consists of 4 members: Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, Labourer, and Forklift operator. This is a fantastic project with significant opportunities for career progression.
