SEN Lunchtime Supervisor - St Andrews Primary School in Wolverhampton

Fixed term for 1 year in first instance

Governors are seeking to appoint exceptional candidates who have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs. We are looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals, who have a genuine interest in making a positive impact on the lives of our children.

Responsibilities

• Accompanying pupils to the dinner hall and supervising their eating
• Supporting their transition from the dinner hall to the playground area and with their return to classroom spaces
• Engaging with them through talk and interaction and encouraging play activities
• Assisting with the children’s hygiene requirements, e.g., handwashing and toileting as necessary

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
