We are currently recruiting for a number of Waste Management Operatives to effectively and efficiently undertake the emptying of wheeled bins, collection of bulky waste, and clinical waste collections, within the Nuneaton and Bedworth area. You will also be required, through our street cleansing service, to cover litter picking, fly tip-removal and the emptying of litter bins.
The role will involve working in a team environment on a set route, and be public facing. We have a number of permanent roles working 37 hours per week. This role will potentially require you to start work at 6.30am.
The post will require some general overtime, weekend and Bank Holiday working, as required.
You should have good communication skills, have a working knowledge of Health and Safety in a refuse collection / waste management service areas.
You should have experience of outdoor working ideally with moving traffic awareness, be able to work under your own initiative or in a team environment, be flexible and reliable, and have the ability to work in pressure situations effectively.
