Lunchtime Supervisor
Permanent - Part Time 11.75 hours per week

Leighswood School is seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable Lunchtime Supervisors to join our supportive and welcoming team. We are a caring school catering for pupils between the ages of 2 and 11. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is committed to helping create a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime environment.
The role is 11.75 hours per week over 5 days – 11:30 am to 1:45pm with a fortnightly staff meeting from 11:00am to 11:30am.
Key Responsibilities-
- supervising students during lunchtime, including in designated dining, playground and social areas
- ensuring students are safe and well cared for throughout the lunchtime period
- promoting positive behaviour and supporting students to follow the school’s expectations
- building positive and respectful relationships with students
- responding appropriately to student needs, concerns or incidents and reporting these to relevant staff where necessary
- working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth and effective running of lunchtime arrangements
- contributing to a welcoming, inclusive and positive environment for all students
