NJC Pay Scale Point 3-6, £25,614 - £26,847 pro-rata to hours worked,
Equals £7,113 - £7,456 actual salary.
St Patrick's Primary School is committed to providing the best outcomes for all pupils. The Governing Body are seeking to recruit a temporary Food Prep Assistant to join our dedicated, hard-working team and delightful children. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Cook-in-Charge and will undertake duties such as fool preparation, serving food, kitchen cleaning duties, pot washing and any other duties commensurate with the role. Ideally you will have a passion for cooking, working with children and be proactive with a 'can do' attitude.
Experience of working in a school kitchen or similar environment would be desirable.
The post will be 12 hours/week, Monday to Friday, term time only, the work pattern is:-
11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Friday.
The successful candidate will hold or undertake training for the Food Hygiene Certificate at the relevant level.
The Authority/School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will be expected to provide two suitable references.
