Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners? Sir Alexander Fleming Primary School and Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our committed teaching staff and help foster a positive learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of high-quality lessons.
- Assist individual students or small groups with their learning, including those with additional needs.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support students’ emotional, social, and educational development.
- Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and administrative tasks.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities (e.g., playtime, lunchtime supervisor).
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children.
- Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is patient, reliable, and highly motivated.
- Ideally has prior experience in a school setting or relevant qualifications
