We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic manager to lead the operational teams within Revenues and Benefits.

Reporting directly to the Revenues and Benefits Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing strong leadership and direction to 6 Team Managers delivering Council Tax/Business Rates Billing and Recovery, Benefits, Debt Recovery, Training and Subsidy.

Revenues and Benefits is a high performing service subject to constant changes in government legislation. This challenging and exciting role is key to ensuring the service continues to adapt to change efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining and improving performance levels.

Role Requirements

  • Professional qualification – IRRV or equivalent (i.e. 5 years) Revenues & Benefits Management experience.
  • Applicants must have at least five years management experience in a Revenues/Benefits environment and a proven track record of successfully implementing change/new ways of working.

Hours

37 hours per week.

The Council operates hybrid working, involving working from an agreed workplace location in the borough at least 2 days a week (subject to change).
