Redditch Borough Council and Bromsgrove District Council are looking to fill 2 posts in their busy shared service Financial Support Team. These will be based across offices in Redditch and Bromsgrove.
The purpose of this role is to provide support and advice and identify opportunities, to help customers improve their financial independence, including processing Housing Benefits, Council Tax Support, Crisis and Resilience Fund Housing Payments and Essential Living Fund Support claims.
Key requirements
We are looking for a customer focused individual with experience of using a variety of ICT systems and a willingness to develop new and innovative working practices. Applicants should be educated to GCSE level (4-9) or equivalent, including Maths and English, or possess demonstrable work-related experience in the field of Benefits (Housing Benefit & Council Tax Reduction Scheme).
