Teaching assistant level 1 and 2
We are seeking to appoint pro-active, motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team,
providing support for both children in a group environment and in a 1:1 capacity across the school.
Working in conjunction with the class teacher and special educational needs coordinator (SENDCo),
you will be responsible for:
- Providing support during core learning time for small groups and/or on a 1:1 basis
- Supporting in class and performing individual interventions
- Preparing and managing resources to support needs
- Supporting a group of children or a child on a 1:1 basis during the lunchtime period
This position is a fixed term contract with an immediate start and will be until 31st August 2027.
Hours of work will be 32 hours and 5 minutes per week Monday β Friday (8:30am β 3:15pm) and will
include a 20-minute unpaid lunch break. This role is term time only β 39 weeks.
Salary TA1 - Grade D - Β£19,315 (actual salary)
Salary TA2 - Grade F - Β£20,249 (actual salary)
