ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

19.50 hours per week
Actual Salary £11,264 - £11,440 pa

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic administrator to join our busy school office team.
You will have experience in general administration tasks, customer service, cash handling, have a knowledge of word and excel, be organised and able to manage your time effectively.
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are a requirement for this role with at least a GCSE/GCE/O Level of CSE Grade 1 or equivalent.
You will have a polite manner, and will the first point of contact in the School Reception and on the telephone for our parents, professionals and the general public.
Experience in a school setting, and knowledge of SIMS, FSM, ParentMail, School Attendance and Data Protection would be desirable, but training will be provided.
Whilst we do work closely as a team, you will be required to work on your own initiative, in a fast moving environment.
The position will be for 19.5 hours per week term time only (38 Weeks). The working pattern is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday’s from 8:30am to 3:30pm with a 30 min lunch break.
You may be required to work additional hours for staff training, staff absence, busy periods etc for which additional payment can be claimed.
