Hours: 28.75 per week (8.20-3.15pm) with a 45 minute lunch break

Purpose of the job:
- To work in KS2 under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff to implement learning activities with individuals/groups of children, in or out of the classroom.
- To support high quality teaching and learning through involvement in planning, preparation and assessment.
- To provide cover supervision as and when required.
- To provide supervision on the school playground during unstructured times.
- The scope to work solely with SEND pupils will be an option for a suitable candidate, to be discussed at interview.
Essentially, you will:
- Have at least NVQ Level 3 in teaching assistance or equivalent.
- Have good, personal literacy/numeracy skills (GCSE English and mathematics or equivalent).
