We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to join our successful school and we require applicants who:

  • can demonstrate successful experience in a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant role, including direct experience of working with pupils with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD and/or SEMH needs.

  • are able to respond directly to our children’s needs and provide them with the relevant support both academically and pastorally.
  • are able to establish positive relationships when supporting pupils with English and Mathematical skills, promoting positive behaviour and helping develop pupils’ social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • have excellent oral, written and mathematical skills and are able to communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents.
  • demonstrate commitment to ensuring that pupils of all abilities achieve their full potential, especially those with additional educational needs.
  • have high expectations and a commitment to raising standards.
  • have the ability to use initiative as well as being a good team member.
  • demonstrate the knowledge of a range of strategies to engage pupils in their learning.
  • have a desire to follow Nurture UK Principles.
