Marston Green Infant Academy is seeking to appoint a skilled Learning Support Assistant to support our SEND pupils. This post may include small group support, intervention and lunchtime support.

We are looking for a colleague who:

  • Is able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of children with complex needs, such as social, emotional and mental health
  • Is able to respond directly to our children’s needs and provide them with the relevant and timely support, especially with nurture
  • Is passionate about raising standards and is committed to our pupils
  • Is able to challenge and motivate all of our pupils to achieve their very best
  • Is enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Is able to work independently and also plan co-operatively with colleagues
  • Has exemplary organisational and communication skills

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is essential, together with English and Maths GCSE Grade C or above.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:15 pm to 3.30 pm (16.25 hours), term time only

Actual Salary: £9,644 - £9,950

This is a fixed term post and will end on 31 August 2027.

Interviews will be held on Friday 25 September 2026.
