Overview

Join our dynamic team supporting schools, pupils, and professionals across Telford & Wrekin. As an Inclusion Mentor, you’ll work directly with some of the most vulnerable children and young people, providing 1:1 mentoring, transition support, and assessments, as well as delivering training and guidance to school staff. We’re looking for someone passionate about inclusion, resilient in the face of challenge, and committed to helping every child thrive. This is a varied, rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or in a behaviour support/inclusion role.
  • Understands the challenges faced by vulnerable learners and is committed to reducing barriers to inclusion.
  • Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and professionals.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in others.
  • Is reflective, resilient, and solution-focused when managing challenging situations.
  • Holds a driving licence and is willing to travel across the Borough and local areas.
