16 hours per week, term time only. (08:00 –16:00) Tuesdays and Wednesdays together with two inset days. Other contracted hours will be considered.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Technician with a flexible attitude to support the learning of students in their lessons. Experience of working with young people would be advantageous, as would understanding of workshop tools and practices.

You will be working along side our Head of Design Technology: Resistant Materials. You will prepareresources for lessons, support pupils whilst in the workshop to learn in a safe and appropriate environment and work with small groups of pupils to help them achieve their best possible outcomes.

Bredon Hill Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to recognise and share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and obtain medical clearance.

For interested and suitably-qualified/experienced candidates, this role could be combined with the vacancy for a classroom teaching assistant up to a maximum of 32.5 hours per week.

It is likely that there will be the opportunity for this to become a permanent role at the end of the academic year.
