West Coventry Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and committed Teacher of Science to join our successful and forward-thinking Science Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving school community dedicated to excellence. We are looking for a talented Science teacher who:

  • Has a genuine passion for Science and can inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject in students
  • Delivers engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)
  • Encourages students to develop scientific thinking, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning
  • Is committed to raising achievement and supporting all learners to reach their full potential
  • Works collaboratively within a supportive and ambitious department

What you'll need to succeed

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of behaviour and achievement
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing
  • Be motivated, organised, and eager to contribute to wider school life
