We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Teaching Assistants to join our popular and ambitious school. We are particularly looking for applicants who are keen to work with students with Autism/SLD and complex Autism.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher and the school to ensure curriculum objectives are met in line with the job description and personnel spec.
What We’re Looking For
- A passionate and committed educational professional Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification Experience in working with pupils with additional needs (SEN experience highly desirable)

Overseas Checks
For candidates who have lived or worked outside the UK, a certificate of good conduct or equivalent local criminal record check may be required.
Medical Fitness
A work health assessment to confirm physical and mental capability to carry out the duties of the role.
Qualifications
Verifying original certificates for essential qualifications (for example Qualified Teacher Status or specific degrees).
Online Searches
As part of the safer recruitment shortlisting process, checking publicly available online information (such as open social media and news articles) to identify anything that might indicate a safeguarding risk.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check along with a Children's Barred List check will be required for this role.
