Join to apply for the Digital Designer role at We Make Change. Volunteer for a startup verifying ethical & sustainable supply chains globally. iTraceiT provides a blockchain and QR-code-based platform to document and verify the ethical and sustainable journey of products, from raw material to finished good. It addresses the lack of transparency in global supply chains, especially in the luxury sector, where companies struggle to substantiate their ESG claims and ensure ethical sourcing. The lack of traceability leads to issues like unfair labor conditions, gender inequality, and greenwashing. iTraceiT tackles this by recording every transaction and transformation, empowering brands and governments to prove where materials come from and under what social and environmental conditions. The solution enables fair compensation and recognition for artisanal miners and small producers, supports country-of-origin initiatives in places like Angola and South Africa, and generates verifiable due-diligence reports. By bridging technology and ethics, iTraceiT helps build a more transparent, equitable, and sustainable global trade ecosystem.
Role Description: We are looking for a talented Digital Design Volunteer to help shape the visual identity of iTraceiT across products, platforms, and communications. You will play a key role in creating engaging, consistent, and scalable designs that reflect our mission to make supply chains transparent and trustworthy. This role is ideal for a creative designer eager to contribute to an innovative technology company at the intersection of traceability, luxury, and sustainability. Your work will directly enhance how iTraceiT communicates its value to clients, investors, and partners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Imagine and develop memorable visual identities: logos, icons, UI kits, and product branding.
- Design clear and user-friendly UX/UI interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
- Create impactful visuals for investor decks, product brochures, and marketing campaigns.
- Design internal digital materials such as presentation slides, user guides, and onboarding assets.
- Maintain and evolve our design systems to ensure visual consistency and scalability.
- Proactively suggest creative, ergonomic, and technological improvements to enhance the user experience.
Profile:
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Understanding of B2B SaaS product environments and multi-product ecosystems.
- Strong balance of creativity and precision, with experience working in agile workflows.
- A product-driven mindset: you think UX-first, ensuring designs serve the user before the aesthetics.
- (Bonus) Experience designing complex business interfaces or platform-based tools.
- (Bonus++) Skills in video editing (After Effects, Premiere, or similar tools).
Impact: By joining iTraceiT, you will help define how our brand communicates innovation, transparency, and trust across the global luxury and technology sectors. Your designs will not only elevate our digital presence but also help shape the visual narrative of ethical trade and sustainable sourcing worldwide.
Time Commitment: Volunteer 10+ hours per week for 6+ months remotely. If you want to make change, apply to volunteer with iTraceiT!
