CoCo Group are partnering with an exciting and culturally driven organisation to find a sharp, socially native Social Media Manager to help shape and grow their digital presence. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who genuinely lives and breathes online culture, understands how conversations move across platforms, how audiences engage with content, and how to turn complex ideas into compelling social storytelling.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll play a key role in developing a social presence that sits at the intersection of culture, media, current affairs and digital storytelling. This is far more than a scheduling and posting role; we’re looking for someone with strong editorial instincts, creative flair and a genuine curiosity about the world around them.
The successful candidate will help create thoughtful, engaging content across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, bringing ideas to life through short-form video, reactive content and platform-native storytelling. You’ll contribute to content ideation, identify trends and cultural moments worth responding to, and help build an engaged online community around a purpose-led brand with something meaningful to say.
This role would suit someone who naturally consumes and understands digital culture, follows evolving conversations online, and has a strong sense of what makes content resonate. Whether your experience comes from a brand, agency, editorial platform, media environment or even personal projects you’ve grown yourself, strong creative instincts and a proactive mindset are what matter most.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating, editing and publishing social-first content across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Shooting and editing short-form video content using tools such as CapCut
- Designing quick-turn creative assets in Canva
- Writing engaging, culturally aware copy with a clear and consistent tone of voice
- Supporting content planning and campaign rollouts across social channels
- Managing community engagement, comments and DMs
- Spotting trends, conversations and reactive content opportunities
- Monitoring performance and using insights to continually optimise content
We’re looking for someone with:
- 1–3 years’ experience in social media, digital content or editorial environments
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and modern platform behaviours
- Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
- Experience creating engaging short-form video content
- A culturally aware, curious and proactive approach
- Confidence working in a fast-moving and evolving environment
Experience in journalism, media, politics, editorial content or community building would be ideal. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with a distinctive voice, meaningful subject matter and ambitious plans for growth. Apply today to be considered.
