Job Summary

We Help Recruit is partnering with a leading packaging manufacturer to recruit a Logistics Administrator based in Crawley.

This role is essential for coordinating shipments, managing transport arrangements, and ensuring customers receive an excellent service throughout the delivery process.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the shipment and collection of goods, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and as planned.
  • Communicate with customers regarding collection and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and logistics documentation.
  • Liaise with transport providers and negotiate competitive rates, particularly for larger or recurring shipments.
  • Monitor deliveries and proactively resolve any issues that arise.
  • Support colleagues within the Logistics team and provide cover when required.
  • Work with ERP systems and understand their integration with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports using Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a logistics, transport, supply chain or administration role.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Experience using ERP systems (experience with TMS integration would be advantageous).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
