Stirling Inclusion Support Service is a specialist service that works closely with schools, partners and families to improve outcomes for children and young people who present with social, emotional and behavioural needs. The Service consists of a multi-disciplinary team that provides outreach support to schools and has three bases that offer a more intensive level of support for a small number of children and young people who require this. The Service promotes the importance of positive relationships and a trauma informed and rights based approach, providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where children and young people can develop confidence, make informed decisions and achieve their full potential.

We are looking to appoint a PE teacher who is passionate about inclusion and equity to work with our children and young people in our bases.

Responsibilities
  • Support and inspire learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of innovative lessons based on the needs of the children and young people.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. Successful applicants will be asked to complete the relevant PVG form and have their details verified if progressed after the interview.
