The Council is looking for you to join the Chief Officer - Governance, Audit Service Manager, Internal Audit Team Leader and the wider Internal Audit, Risk and Corporate Fraud Team to provide excellent Internal Audit services to support Stirling's ambitions to deliver the best outcomes for its communities. Working with the Audit Service Manager and Internal Audit Team Leader, you will contribute to the delivery of an excellent Internal Audit service. You will be professionally qualified, innovative and will be motivated to help support improvement across the Council. You will be an integral member of Internal Audit, Risk and Corporate fraud team and will work with colleagues to drive a positive, risk aware and customer focussed culture. You will be a highly effective communicator and team player, with a demonstrable track record of achievement. You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as with teams across the Council. Analytical skills and political awareness are needed, together with a commitment to customer-focused public services. Working with colleagues across the organisation and external partners, you will build and develop relationships to deliver solutions and improvements for the benefit of all of our citizens.
