Overview

Saturday Library Assistant – Central Library, Stirling, Scotland. You will deliver a range of library services to the community, assisting patrons of all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of library services to community patrons.
  • Maintain the orderly management of the library collection and facilities.
  • Provide friendly, customer‑focused support to library users.
  • Work collaboratively with library staff and volunteer teams.
  • Adhere to all library policies, procedures and health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Age 16 years and over.
  • Standard Grade or equivalent educational attainment.
  • Strong interest in literature and a passion for community service.
  • Good ICT and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of all ages and abilities.
  • Excellent team‑working and customer‑focus abilities.
  • Required to complete a Level 1 Disclosure Scotland check.
