Overview
Saturday Library Assistant – Central Library, Stirling, Scotland. You will deliver a range of library services to the community, assisting patrons of all ages and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of library services to community patrons.
- Maintain the orderly management of the library collection and facilities.
- Provide friendly, customer‑focused support to library users.
- Work collaboratively with library staff and volunteer teams.
- Adhere to all library policies, procedures and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Age 16 years and over.
- Standard Grade or equivalent educational attainment.
- Strong interest in literature and a passion for community service.
- Good ICT and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with people of all ages and abilities.
- Excellent team‑working and customer‑focus abilities.
- Required to complete a Level 1 Disclosure Scotland check.
