An exciting vacancy has risen within Stirling Council for the post of Sustainable Transport Project Officer. This opportunity will work within the Sustainable Development Team on projects relating to the Climate and Nature Emergency Plan and emerging Sustainable Mobility Strategy. The post holder will be central to taking forward projects relating to transport strategic plans. This will include projects involving active travel, freight, public transport and other forms of sustainable transport. It will work closely with communities as well as with key partners.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant field and will have experience of quality project management delivery. You will be able to demonstrate that you have experience in programme management and can effectively communicate with others. You will have an understanding of the climate emergency with a desire to deliver projects that will transform people's lives for the better. A full driver's licence is essential for this role.
