Every role at We Do Your Group comes with the same commitment: that you’ll be supported, valued and given the opportunity to do your best work. We’re a family of businesses, which means you’ll have the stability of an established group behind you and the close-knit feel of a team that actually knows your name. Whatever the role, we hold ourselves to the same standards — honest, accountable, forward-thinking and always people first.

We’re looking for a Technology Consultant to join our specialist AI & Technology team in Bristol. If you’ve built your career in an MSP environment and you’re ready for a role that combines cloud consultancy, cyber security delivery, and emerging AI technology — this might be exactly what you’re looking for.

At We Do Your Group, we work with small and medium-sized businesses across the South West, helping them build IT environments that are secure, modern and built to last. We’re an NCSC Assured Service Provider and hold Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 accreditations. We’re not a company that chases shortcuts — we do things right first time.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Cloud and infrastructure consultancy — You’ll assess client environments, design solutions and lead hands-on delivery across cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, virtualisation, networking, and hardware. You’ll handle deployments, migrations, upgrades and integrations — covering everything from backups and software to onsite visits and server work.
  • Cyber security and Cyber Essentials — A meaningful part of the role involves supporting clients through Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification. You’ll identify security gaps, remediate issues and ensure client environments meet NCSC requirements across patching, access controls, boundary firewalls and device security.
  • AI tools and innovation — You’ll actively use AI platforms to improve your own efficiency and client outcomes, and support the deployment of AI solutions for clients. We want someone who approaches new technology with curiosity and a willingness to experiment.
  • Client relationships — You’ll be a trusted advisor to the businesses you work with — someone they can rely on for honest, straightforward guidance. You’ll support client reviews, communicate technical information clearly, and spot genuine opportunities to improve the way they work.
  • Documentation — Thorough ticket notes and up-to-date client system documentation aren’t optional here — they’re part of delivering a high standard of service and keeping the team properly informed.
  • Team and knowledge sharing — You’ll collaborate closely with the AI & Technology Manager and Service Desk, contribute to cross-skilling programmes and help junior team members develop.
What We’re Looking For
  • A strong technical foundation across infrastructure, networking, cloud and security
  • Practical experience deploying and supporting Microsoft 365 and cloud environments
  • Working knowledge of Cyber Essentials — CE+ delivery experience is a strong advantage
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a genuine interest in where the technology is heading
  • Confident communicator who can work directly with non-technical clients
  • Organised and thorough — strong documentation and ticket-logging discipline
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through
  • Team player who shares knowledge and supports colleagues
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an MSP is essential
  • Industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft) are welcomed but not required if experience speaks for itself
What We Offer
  • £30,000–£35,000 per year
  • Full training and genuine support from day one
  • Real progression within a growing group of businesses
  • 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays, plus your birthday off
  • Company pension scheme
  • Regular team socials and a Christmas party
  • A values-led team that lives by Fairness, Accountability, Mentorship, Innovation, a Long-term view, and People first
