We are seeking an experienced and motivated SEND Assessment & Review Officer to join our SEND service. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and managing Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments and Annual Reviews, ensuring statutory duties are met and that children and young people receive high-quality, outcome-focused EHCPs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate EHC Needs Assessments and Annual Reviews within statutory timescales
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, professionals, and partner agencies
  • Ensure EHCPs are person-centred, legally compliant, and of high quality
  • Review professional advice and assessment information to support informed decision-making
  • Maintain accurate case records and contribute to service improvement activity
  • Support positive outcomes for children and young people with SEND

About You

  • Experience working within SEND services or a statutory SEND environment
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice
