We are seeking a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Walsall. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of individuals by promoting independence, improving wellbeing, and supporting people to achieve their personal goals.
Working across a varied caseload, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy interventions for adults, helping them maximise their functional abilities and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop and deliver person-centred treatment plans.
- Assess functional needs and recommend appropriate equipment and adaptations.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
- Support safe discharge planning and community reintegration where applicable.
- Promote independence and enable service users to achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
- Strong assessment, problem-solving, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Experience working within community, rehabilitation, mental health, or social care settings.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Experience of equipment provision and housing adaptations.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
