Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organised Interim Panel Inclusion Officer to support the Education and SEND Team. This role focuses on the administration and delivery of fair access, exclusion, and attendance panels, while ensuring smooth communication with schools, families, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in administering fair access, exclusion, and attendance pre-court panels.
- Liaise with schools and families on admissions and related enquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Support the recording and issuing of penalty notices in collaboration with the Penalty Notice and Child Employment Coordinator.
- Assist in compiling documentation for legal processes concerning exclusions, suspensions, and attendance matters.
- Maintain, process, and monitor departmental data, investigating anomalies and referring issues as necessary.
- Ensure all data is accurate, up to date, and compliant with departmental policies, providing reliable statistics for effective management.
- Support additional administrative and operational tasks across the wider Inclusion Team as required.
Requirements:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and liaison abilities with schools, families, and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Knowledge of education, SEND, and school exclusion procedures is desirable.
