Locum Senior Social Worker/Senior Practitioner Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team £39.04 PH 3 months CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FROM THE OFFICE MINIMUM 2 DAYS A WEEK The Bromley Children & Families Hub (previously MASH) was fully established in 2014 and has since developed in size and complexity. We are looking to increase the numbers of staff in the Children & Families Hub Service and want to recruit an experienced Senior Social Worker/Senior Practitioner. The post holder will work as part of a developing and dynamic multi-agency team assessing front door notifications and referrals regarding children and young people aged 0 – 18. We are seeking applicants with experience in assessing risk in a multi-agency context who are able to demonstrate that they have the knowledge, skills and experience of children and families work. Knowledge of legislation and statutory guidance relating to safeguarding and sharing confidential information with partner agency to protect and support children is essential. The post holder will contribute to the Social Work perspective and deliver high quality screening, making sound recommendations based, and an ability to make decisions commensurate with the role. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced qualified social work practitioner with an exceptionally high standard of front-line statutory social work experience, skills and knowledge, who works effectively with colleagues and enjoys collaborative working.
