Enfield has launched its new Family Help Service and Family Safeguarding practice model, placing greater emphasis on early intervention, effective multi-agency working and supporting children to remain safely within their families wherever possible. Enfield Children in Care Service is seeking an experienced and committed Social Worker to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practitioner with strong experience in Children in Care, court proceedings, child protection and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a complex caseload of children in care.
- Undertake high-quality assessments and develop effective care plans.

About You
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and committed Social Worker who has:
- At least 3 years’ experience working within Children in Care.
- Strong experience of court proceedings.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong assessment, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing complex caseloads independently.
- The ability to build effective relationships with children, families and professionals.
- A child-centred, strengths-based approach to social work practice.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
